Kids Earth Play Program at Living Well in WA Expo with Kristi McMullan - author, advocate and Earth Parenting facilitator.

11am Saturday 19 May - Making Sour Dough Bread

Bring your kids along to learn a life time skill of making sour dough bread.
They will take home their own culture, some dough they have made that can be cooked and eaten and some easy instructions for an ongoing relationship with their own sour dough.
Best suits 5+ years of age.

2pm Saturday 19 May - Weaving a Basket OR a Dream Catcher

Weaving is an ancient art and once started can lead a child to many discoveries of the value of nature. In this workshop your child will learn several weaving techniques and will take home their creation and enthusiam to create from nature for the rest of their lives.

Making their own dream catchers empowers children on deep levels, especially when it comes to sleep time.They can make and decorate one to take home. Another life-time skill.

11am Sunday 20 May Introducing Toddlers to the Elements

Introducing babies and toddlers to the elements can be challenging in such a clean world. Bring your young ones along and learn some fantastic take home tips for incorporating more earth play in your child’s life.

With our Earth mother guiding the workshop you are guaranteed to feel more at home in nature with your baby. Let them start life with a solid grounding in the elements (now scientifically proven to be essential for full development of neurological function and immune development).

Promise- we can clean them at the end of the workshop!

2pm Sunday 20 May - Whittling Sticks and Making Flags

What a powerful skill working with a knife is. Another nearly lost skill set is whittling. Bring your kids and they can learn safe techniques with knives while whittling and shaping sticks that can be walking sticks, wands, flag sticks or other ideas. This workshop provides knives to use, wood and other creative pieces.
