Kids Collective boasts a series of specially curated children’s activities designed to entertain, educate and develop young minds.

World Science Festival Brisbane and Curiocity 2022 present "Tinker Play - Wooden Robots” with Kids Collective.
An engaging hands-on STEM project exploring moving parts and encouraging learning through play. Kids use real tools safely to build their own little wooden robot and bring it to life using vibrant craft materials and imaginary play.
MORE INFO: For this session, please make sure your little ones are wearing enclosed shoes. There will be tools to use… and we want to make sure that everyone is as safe as possible!
The activity is suitable for kids 2-6 years of age. Places are limited per session.
For World Science Festival Brisbane and Curiocity 2022 Kids Collective will be split into 3 x 45 minute sessions running at 9:30am, 11:00am and 12:00pm. You can choose which session you would like to attend when you register above. For safety reasons tickets are capped. All sessions for this workshop will be held at Flowstate Pavilion. Registration is required to attend. Please note if you are running more than 15 minutes late for your session your spot may be reallocated. Please select one ticket for each child participating in the session. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 18years) at all times.
Important Health and Safety Information
When visiting the Parkland, please make sure you observe the guidelines set out by Queensland Health and do not attend the Parkland if any of the below are applicable:
- You or your child are displaying COVID-19 symptoms- these include a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath, and feeling unwell
- You or your child have had close contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19
- You or your child tested positive for COVID-19
