About this Event

Cohort proudly presents Horizon 2.0 - a two day pop-up innovation lab built for the $5 billion Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.

Through a series of talks, panel discussions, workshops and networking events in November, we will explore adjacent innovation opportunities within our precinct and build better frameworks to collaborate.

An intimate conversation with Grahame Grieve, the father of FHIR.

Fresh from accepting the John P. Glaser Award for his pioneering contribution to health informatics, Grahame will discuss the remarkable potential for global collaboration and better patient outcomes unlocked by utilising a single, interoperable system. Join us to learn why Google, Apple and Microsoft have all adopted FHIR and what this means for health innovation all over the world.

Supported by the Queensland Government, Horizon 2.0 will focus on the future of health and technology, showcase the capabilities of precinct partners and present workshops on AI, Additive Manufacturing, HealthTech, Investing and the Three Horizons model to uncover untapped innovation opportunities within our City and beyond.
