Key Word Signing for the Early Childhood Setting - PART 2

Have you completed our Educator Key Word Signing course Part One and are now interested in extending your knowledge and build your vocabulary?
OR
Do you already have experience using Key Word Signing?
Then this KEY WORD SIGNING FOR THE EARLY EDUCATION SETTING - PART 2 is for you!
During this workshop you'll continue to build your knowledge on how Key Word Signing can be used to encourage speech and language development for children in early childhood.
During our two hour workshop you will:
* Practice/revise early language concepts previously learnt (colours/shapes/numbers)
* Explore finger spelling strategies and modifying signs to support all literacy levels
* Look at the visual characteristics of signs including abstract signs and iconic signs
* Build vocabulary to explore signs for people, animals, meal times and feelings/emotions
Focus age remains children 2-5 years (including typically developing children and children using key word signing for their primary mode of communication). This workshop is suitable for those who have a basic understanding of key word signing or have completed our "Key Word Signing for the Early Education Setting" workshop.
