About this event

Many of us have had the experience of feeling very stressed out and worried about a situation on one day, then calmer and more positive a day or two later. Assuming that the situation itself remains worrisome, the only thing that has changed is our perspective. Many factors impact our stress perspective on a day-to-day basis, both factors within and outside of our control. Keeping stress in perspective impacts every area of our professional life, from self-discipline to relationships.

In this interactive workshop, we examine ways that we lose our perspective on stress and worry in our lives and develop ways of getting our perspective back on track. We develop stress management strategies based on three pillars of perspective: physical, mental, and social.

Using Dale Carnegie's tips from "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living", we will learn a simple way to readjust our perspective in order to perform at our best.

- Assess our individual perspectives on stress and worry

- Commit to principles for keeping stress in perspective

- Plan to keep stress in perspective on an ongoing basis

Organiser Dale Carnegie Australia

Organiser of Keeping Stress and Worry in Perspective Online Workshop

Dale Carnegie Training was founded in 1912, inspired by one man’s belief in the power of self-improvement. Since then, it’s evolved into a movement that’s crossed borders and generations, showing people how to tap into the best parts of themselves to create positive change.

Dale Carnegie’s original body of knowledge has been constantly updated, expanded and refined through nearly a century's worth of real-life business experiences. Our programs, available in more than 25 languages, show people all over the world how to communicate in a way that draws others in, so they can form closer, more rewarding relationships. Whether they’re starting out or stepping up, learning to lead or heading up a team, we sharpen their inner voice so they can use it with confidence to get the most out of their lives and their work.

For more than 100 years, we’ve helped communities everywhere prosper by improving the personal and financial well-being of the people who live there, and the companies that do business there. Today, through franchises in more than 90 countries and all 6 Australian states, we help people gain greater influence and make meaningful contributions in the places that matter most.
