Event description

Description

Keeping chickens in the backyard provides you with fresh eggs, a way to turn your kitchen scraps into organic fertiliser and reduces the pest population of your veggie patch.
Chooks also make great pets with their funny personalities and often docile nature. Join us for a hands-on introduction to backyard chook keeping with local chicken keeper and permaculture teacher, Martyn Noakes.
Learn how to raise, feed, handle and shelter these incredibly useful birds in a backyard setting.

Refund Policy: Please kindly note that tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to other workshops if notification is given at least 21 days prior to the workshop. Tickets are non-transferrable after this time.
