Kayaking ~ Kangaroo Valley & Picnic // Sat Feb 16th ~ 9.30am - 2pm
JOIN US, On this eco tour of the wonderfully beautiful Kangaroo River & Moreton National Park. Paddling the still, open water, enjoy the serene bush environment of Moreton National Park, with its endless supply of wildlife. Experience water dragons, birdlife, wallabies, platypuses & much more........
We are so excited to host this event which is suitable for everyone with an adventurous spirit.
Featuring: Lush Forested Areas, Historic Areas, Farm Land, Wildlife, Morning Tea, Picnic Lunch, Kayaking Eco Tour, Swimming, Great Company.
Grade: Easy ~ suitable for beginners or above
Driving: Kangaroo Valley is approximately 2.5hrs from the CBD & 2hrs from the Sutherland Shire

EVENT ITINERARY:
MEET: 9.30am at Kangaroo Valley Safaris ~ 2031 Moss Vale Rd Kangaroo Valley

Meeting at Kangaroo Safaris for our safety briefing we make our way to Bendeela. After a short safety briefing from your guide we hit the river in our single kayaks, there will also be optional double kayaks for parent & child paddlers & those who are not confident or if you wish to share with a friend. We can sort that all out on arrival.

Eco tour paddling, will take us along the Kangaroo River & into the spectacular Moreton National Park, looking out for wildlife along the way, this is such a diverse environment with a multitude of birdlife, water fauna & ever changing flora along the river bank. If travelling with good time we will make our way up to Lake David for a short stop.

A delicious light picnic lunch awaits us when we return to Bendeela. Perfect !!!

Paddling distance will be approximately 5km plus, distance will depend on the group fitness level. We move at a pace that is suitable for everyone in the group. Water is still very tranquil to paddle on.

Bag with spare dry clothes ~ can be left in the car to chang into when we are finished

Closed in shoes like reef walkers or old joggers ( this protects your feet from injury should you step on something in the water or on the bank)

Gloves ( bike gloves are great ) these grip the paddle making it easier ~ OPTIONAL

REFUND POLICY: T&C's apply
We provide a refund less $45 admin & license fee up to 15 days before event, a refund of 50% of the amount will be given 7 - 15 days before event. There is no refund given with less than 7 days notice before event, due to catering, licensing & tour costs that we have to pay from our end. Your ticket however may be transferred to another person who wishes to join us.
If we have to cancel event due to dangerous weather conditions or bush fire you will be notified the night before or early morning of event & a choice to reshedule or a full refund will be given.
