Description
Short on time but want to experience a full day of guided hiking in the wild, with a small group of likeminded people? This event is for you! Experience a microadventure just outside of Sydney, spending the day exploring different terrains and the unique scenery of a secret location. If you think you’ve covered Sydney’s outdoors, think again. This day hike will take you on the less explored route, covering wildlife and breathtaking scenery. This tour has been designed by a world-class adventurer, as well as experienced hiking guides with high energy and passion for the outdoors.

Participant requirements: Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness
Itinerary:

Meet at 7.30am at a secret location (option for carpooling once signed up)

Briefing including routes, safety & hiking top tips

Exploring the route with your small group, stopping at specific points

Stop for lunch around 12pm (BYO)

Return back to the cars for 2.30pm (approx)
Gear List
To wear:

Long walking shorts, leggings or hiking pants or yoga pants

Tshirt

Comfortable hiking shoes

Hat

Sunglasses
To carry:
Hiking backpack to carry the following:

Pens, pencil and notebook

Lunch and snacks for the day

Sunscreen

3 Litre water bottle (minimum)

Wet weather gear including raincoat

Head torch + spare batteries (probably won’t use but always handy to have in your bag for hiking)

Fleece jumper or jacket (in a garbage bag to keep dry)

Personal medication

Insect repellent

Swimming gear
