Katherine Outback Experience is providing a Cattle Station Workshop to give youth a taste of station life. The Workshop is for local youth (aged 12-17 years) and is completely FREE! This workshop is for youth only (parents/guardian to drop off/pick up).

This event has been generously funded and supported by the Office of Youth Affairs, Youth Engagement Program.

Overview of what to expect:

A variety of station experiences including but not limited to:

• Horsemanship
• Dogmanship
• Stockman Skills & Knowledge

Numbers are limited to 24 and will be on a "first in best dressed basis". Please register your tickets today!

Gates open and registration from 8:00am for a 8.30am start. Concludes at 10.30am and includes morning tea. Participants to bring a water bottle, hat and have sunscreen applied. Closed in shoes must be worn at all times.

Parent/Guardian must complete Parental Consent Form and Medical/Waiver Form prior to the workshop otherwise the participant is unable to participate in the workshop. A link to the online forms will be sent in the confirmation email.

If you acquire a ticket and the participant can no longer attend, please cancel the ticket so another person can attend the workshop.

COVID 19 Requirements

We are taking the Coronavirus very seriously and are monitoring Government advice daily. We continue to alter our policies in response to restrictions. We are taking all measures to minimise risk to participants and staff. This includes:

• Maintaining a 1.5 metre separation at all times between staff and visitor family groups.

• Daily cleaning of seating, toilets and equipment

• Cashless transactions

• Availability of hand wash and sanitiser onsite

Please respect the health of our Team and fellow Territorians by not entering our property under the following circumstances:

• If you or someone in your family has returned from overseas or knowingly come in contact with someone who has returned from overseas or had the virus within 14 days

• If you or someone in your family has been or felt unwell in the last 14 days

• If you have travelled interstate or been in close contact with someone who has travelled interstate in the last 14 days.
