About this event
In 1898 Kate was mysteriously found dead in a lagoon outside the NSW town of Forbes. Was it suicide, accident, or murder, and why had she changed her name to Ada Hennessy?
Rebecca Wilson is the first to uncover the full story of Kate Kelly’s tumultuous life. It will surprise anyone who thought they knew the story of Australia’s most famous outlaw.
Rebecca Wilson grew up in Forbes NSW where Kate Kelly lived in the last years of her life. Rebecca has been hearing local stories about Kate all her life, and she has been researching, painting, and writing Kate's tragic story for over a decade.
