Event description
This session explores and reinforces the significant role managers play in preventing misconduct and corruption in WA public authorities.

About this event

Are you a supervisor or manager in a WA public sector agency, local government, public university or government trading enterprise?

Are you:

• working in a human resources or learning and development role responsible for integrity training?

• working in a conduct and integrity area involved in promoting integrity and preventing misconduct and corruption?

The 3.5 hour workshop – facilitated by our Integrity Promotion and Review team –will assist you to:

• Understand what is meant by serious and minor misconduct and key roles and responsibilities under the Corruption, Crime and Misconduct Act 2003.

• Explore vulnerable functions and activities, and individual and organisational risk factors for misconduct and corruption. This includes reflecting on integrity risks common to most authorities and those specific to your work.

• Identify how you can promote integrity and contribute to preventing misconduct and corruption within your team, division and authority.

Before the workshop, we will email you a short pre-workshop activity, to get you thinking about integrity in the context of your role and team.

Interested? The workshop is FREE to attend. Register now.
