Fisher Lane Mobility are proud to present the Karma Wheelchair Product Range and Scripting workshop!
The session (11:00am - 3:00pm) will be held at AU79 Cafe (27-29 Nicholson Street, Abbotsford) by Sean Redmond and Craig Williams and will include refreshments and a light lunch.
Certificates of participation will be provided to ensure your accumulation of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours.
This workshop is best suited to therapists working with DVA, SWEP, or community based clients who require basic to mid-level wheelchair seating, and those who are looking to expand their knowledge on basic scripting and positioning options on light rehab wheelchairs.
This session will provide an overview of the Karma manual wheelchair range, and provide therapists with the knowledge on when to select a particular chair.
This session will also have a focus on light rehab scripting options, including backrest and cushion options, and will provide therapists with a chance to get hands on with some basic modifications that can help create a large impact on the user’s life

Interactive session - Hands on manual wheelchair modifications
- Eagle scripting
- Flexx scripting
- Fitting an rigid backrest and pressure cushion
After this course clinicians should be able to:
- Have an understanding of the Karma wheelchair range.
- Select an appropriate wheelchair depending on the client’s circumstance.
- Have an understanding of the scripting potential of Karma’s light rehab wheelchairs.
- Be able to select an appropriate backrest and cushion depending on the client’s needs.
Parking is available in the Hive Shopping Centre on Nicholson Street, Abbotsford. (Make sure to validate your ticket at Aldi or Safeway for cheaper parking)
On the day, you will be provided with lunch, clinical information from the presentation, a copy of the powerpoint and a CPD certificate.
We will contact you 12 days before the event to capture your dietary requirements for lunch that will be provided on the day.
