“As a qualified Naturopath, I've worked with many clients whose health conditions are heavily based around their diet. Eat well, be well grew from an overwhelming need to provide my clients with recipes that not only help them lose weight, reduce inflammation and feel well, but also remind them that eating well in this busy life we live, is very achievable.”

Karen Land is a Dalby local who has, in the last 12 months, undertaken the monumental task of writing, editing and self-publishing her first book. Eat well, be well is packed with simple recipes to have you eating healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners. All recipes are gluten free and dairy free (optional), low in processed carbs and higher in healthy fats.

“With so many weight loss programs and so much misinformation out there, knowing what to eat can become very confusing and often overwhelming. I am very much a realist, and so I say to my clients, ‘It is what you do most of the time that matters’.”

Dalby Library will be hosting a special evening to celebrate the release of Karen’s first book. Join Karen to discuss the challenges and triumphs behind writing a book, and discover a wealth of simple, healthy recipes while you’re at it!


Light refreshments will be provided. Copies of Eat well, be well will be available for purchase on the night. Entry is free but bookings are essential.
