About this Event
Strathfield Council Library and Innovation Hub is offering bookings to see the Justice of the Peace.
Bookings are essential, no walk-ins will be seen. Bookings can be made from 9am on the day.
JPs are available to witness a person making a statutory declaration, witness a person making an affidavit or certify that a copy of an original document is a true and accurate copy.
Please ensure that you have:
- Your original copy
- Number of copies required
- Identification
- Completed forms
- Your own pen
Please note:
- There is a limit of 5 documents per person, if you have more documents to be signed you may be asked to re-join the line. The JP will sign additional documents if time permits.
- The JP’s volunteer their time to our community and as such their time is limited. The JP Service is subject to the availability of the JP and may be cancelled without notice. Every effort is made to find a replacement JP in the event that the regularly scheduled JP is unavailable.
Please note the following conditions of entry will apply:
• All visitors must queue via the accessibility ramp to await entry screening.
• Visitors must provide staff with their contact details and purpose of visit for recording purposes.
• Visitors must present booking confirmation to see the JP.
• Visitors must undergo a temperature check. Those with a reading of 37.5 degrees or higher and/or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 will be denied entry and issued with a COVID-19 FAQ leaflet.
• A distance of 1.5m is to be maintained between people at all times.
• Visitors are to sanitise hands upon entry and exit of the building, wash hands regularly and utilise alcohol wipes that are available.
• Visitors are to follow directions from Library staff.
