Junior Rangers Wildlife Detective - Kinglake National Park

About this Event
Become a Wildlife Detective by learning the secrets of Kinglake's Mountain Ash forest and how it is recovering from fire. Tune your senses to discover who is hiding out of sight, and use clues find out who was in the park while no one was looking.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Please also bring a pen or pencil with you for completing an activity sheet.
Be prepared for a short walk of about 1km along a forest track with some ups and downs. Prams are not recommended.
Directions: please meet in the grassy picnic area beyond the car park. Look for the Junior Ranger signs.
There are toilet facilities, free gas BBQs, and picnic tables available and other walking tracks to explore at Jehosaphat Gully if you want to extend your visit.
