Description

Charlatans, slavery and betrayal. What on earth is happening to the ants, bees and wasps in Royal Park? Join our park rangers for a fun-filled morning of games, exploring and craft as we investigate the secret world of little things that sting.

Q: Will the program run in wet weather?
A: Yes, please wear closed shoes and bring a raincoat/umbrella.

Q: Can I book a large group in to attend the program?
A: There is a maximum bookable group size of 6.

Q: Can I take public transport to the site?
A: The nearest train stop is Royal Park station on the Upfield line. From here it is a short walk to the wetlands. Tram number 55 & 59 will also take you near Royal Park, Flemington road; from here it is a short walk to Ross Straw Field and the wetlands.. Look for the City of Melbourne feather banners and signs.

Q: Is there on-site parking?
A: Parking is available at Ross Straw Pavilion or the Wetlands car park off Oak St.

Q: What other facilities are on site?
A: You will have access to public toilets at the site.

Q: Can I leave my child unattended?
A: No, the school holiday program requires parents to be in attendance at all times.

Q: Can my child come to every day of the program?
A: Sessions are repeated each day. It is not recommended that children repeat sessions as they may lose interest.
