Description

Have you ever wondered what lurks beneath the surface of your local waterway? Come and have a go at catching, observing and returning some of the amazing macroinvertebrates who live below the water at The Briars. Get up close and personal with other wetland creatures - such as resident turtles, eels, frogs and birds - and learn all about their clever (and sometimes very weird) features. Discover what makes the wetlands, creek and estuary such valuable habitats and special places to visit then finish off with some craft. This program is for 6 to 10 year olds.

BYO drink and snack in a backpack (no nuts please). Dress appropriately for the weather conditions, don't forget your hat. Please wear closed shoes, no sandals or thongs.

For further enquiries phone The Briars on 5974-3686.

Please drop your child/children off at the Visitors Centre five minutes before commencement of the program, returning at the end of the program to the Visitors Centre to collect them.
