Junior Book Bouncers

If you are in years 3-6 (ages 8-12) and love reading and stories then sign up to this free fortnightly session! We’ll chat about what we’re reading, the stories we love and swap recommendations.

The program aims to further develop literacy skills by encouraging the enjoyment of reading and creative writing, and to increase familiarity with the Library. Each session includes a discussion of books currently being read, new books available at the Library, suggestions for further reading, and a short creative experience.

Afternoon tea will also be provided.

Sessions are strictly limited to the number of tickets available due to COVID-19 conditions, please book a spot for each child attending. Also be aware that there is a minimum number of children required to run our sessions. Unfortunately, if this number is not reached, we may have to cancel the session at short notice.

This session is being delivered in accordance with COVID-19 health orders and may be subject to change should those orders be revised. If you are attending, please follow physical distancing measures in place.
