July Walk and Talk Bookclub
Date and time
Stroll along the Clarence Foreshore Trail from Simmons Park to Montague Bay Reserve discussing Annie Dillard’s “Pilgrim atTinker Creek”
About this event
This month’s book is Annie Dillard’s “Pilgrim at Tinker Creek” - in the words of one goodreads reviewer, “You think Annie Dillard is talking about parasitic wasps and then WHAM she's talking about God or humanity”. Read one chapter or the whole book. Prepare to have your view of frogs changed forever.
We’ll be meeting in front of Simmons Park in Lindisfarne (pictured). Please be on time as we will start the walk after general introductions.
Remember to wear sturdy, comfortable footwear and bring a raincoat and something to put on if you get cold.
If the weather forecast looks unpromising, check the Facebook page the morning of the walk for updates.
Feel free to wear a mask, and if you are unwell with cold/flu symptoms, please do not attend
