Risk Workshop for Volunteer Management

Join our special Risk Workshop for Volunteer Management with Risk Partners from Insurance Australia Group (IAG).

IAG is Australia's largest general insurance group with controlled operations in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. Its businesses underwrite over $11.4 billion of premium per annum, selling insurance under many leading brands, including: NRMA Insurance, CGU, SGIO, SGIC, Swann Insurance and WFI (Australia).

The IAG Risk Partners function focuses on providing risk services to customers around both insurable and non-insurable risk. Risk Partners' purpose is to turn your risks into opportunities; we are here to help you to understand, manage and recover.

IAG Risk Partners will present a case study that has been completed for a not-for-profit company; specifically focusing on Workplace Health and Safety for volunteering organisations and the value of Risk Profiling in understanding and managing risks. Included in this will be a discussion on worker's compensation, an outline of the WHS resources and the tool kit that was developed. In addition, there will be a presentation on Grey Fleet (private vehicles used for business purposes), including a discussion on exposures, risk considerations and the steps required to manage these risks effectively.
