Event description
Join a 21st century thinking workshop to start your journey towards a Circular Economy. Together we will 'BUILD back BETTER'!

About this Event

The World is currently not in a good space.

Trade wars, social inequality, mass extinctions, waste crises, climate change, and a global pandemic that has brought economies to their knees. It is hard to think that any one person can make a difference in the midst of all this complexity.

Circular Economy Victoria (CEV) believes that the power to transition to a more prosperous future lies with each individual. We all have an important role to play NOW in order to build a reinforcing feedback loop that gets our global systems back on track.

This is why CEV has designed the Journey to Circularity workshop.

CEV will host 3 intimate sessions of the workshop for 15 participants at a time. Available sessions: 29 July | 26 August | 23 September

Purpose

The purpose of the workshop is to provide participants with clarity on how to apply circular economy principles within their own lives, while supporting the systems transformation of their greater communities.

Everyone has their own goals, ambitions, passions, and daily routines. CEV works to help individuals set a journey to achieve these in a more holistic way. While doing so CEV helps participants understand how they can help build a better world while still working towards their personal objectives.

What makes this workshop so valuable is that is resonates with a wide range of stakeholders. If an executive, as well as a stay-at-home parent attend the session for example, the individual roadmaps may look very different. However, after applying the systems thinking element of the workshop, previously unnoticed connections and feedbacks become apparent and new opportunities are presented.

Key Outcomes

  1. Each participant envisions their own journey to circularity
  2. Participants see new opportunities by applying circular principles and systems thinking to their goals
