About this event

Ubuntu Australia, in partnership with the City of Canning, will deliver these FREE, informative and interactive workshops for migrants and CaLD Communities. Experts from Ubuntu Australia, who are from diverse professional and multi-cultural backgrounds and have over 30 years of collective mentoring experience in different industries, will deliver these workshops.

About the Workshops

If:

  • you are unsure how to make your resume, cover letter and selection criteria stand out, or:
  • it has been a while since you last updated your resume, or:
  • you are thinking of a career change or like to be prepared for a changing work environment,

then join these structured and hands-on workshops. Topics will include:

  • How to develop job specific and industry targeted resumes.
  • What to include in a cover letter.
  • How to increase the effectiveness of job search.
  • How to answer selection criteria.
  • Job application tips and tricks.

After these workshops, there might be opportunities of one-on-one support for interested participants with the experts from Ubuntu Australia for a certain period of time.
