Event description

Description

It's back! We welcome you to Jindii Eco Spa's first Sunday Session for 2018.

Rediscover the joy of moving your body!

Dru Yoga is a graceful form of yoga based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. This style of yoga was developed by British osteopaths and is designed with western lifestyles and challenges in mind. It can be practiced by people at any stage of life regardless of ability or experience. It can improve or create strength, flexibility, core stability, positivity, awareness, deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn about Dru Yoga’s foundations, which are set firmly in ancient yogic tradition and learn how Dru works on mind, body and spirit to rejuvenate your whole being and heal you from modern, physically restricting conditions.

  • Partake in a Dru Yoga movement class. A typical Dru class consists of Activations (to warm up the body before practice), an Energy Block Release Sequence (to release tension from the body), body preps and postures, and a deep relaxation at the end. Please wear comfortable shoes, flexible clothing and bring a water bottle.

Join Tracy as she facilitates a positive, fun and empowering experience of relaxation and pain-free movement, as a way of restoring your functional ability. She will help you rediscover how you CAN enjoy living in your own body again.

Support our Charity!

Jindii's Sunday Sessions are an opportunity for our community to gather together in the spirit of inspiration, replenishment and connection but... you’ll be helping the Indigenous Literacy Foundation too! Proceeds from Sunday Session tickets and your donations, go towards purchasing book packs and supporting literacy programs for our Indigenous youth.
