Jimboomba Pen and Calligraphy Workshop
Event Information
Description
Welcome to our monthly pen and calligraphy meeting at Cafe on Cusack (Jimboomba). We will be talking about paper, ink, drawing, calligraphy, and everything else about pens. I will have pens and paper for to use or can bring along your own supplies.
If your pen has any issues then please it bring them along so I can look at it for you and a free clean and service. Bring along all those old pens and we can see if they can be restored.
The meetings generally have a theme around a particular calligraphy font but don't let that stop you from bringing along your own projects to work on particularly if they're more interesting. :-) (If you're interested, contact me to find out the font for this month.)
This is a small group and we welcome everyone, even if you don't own a pen. Don't worry if you're a beginner or a master with pens, there is something for everyone. It's only a small group so don’t be shy, you can stay as long or as little as you like.
This is a self-paced workshop offering the opportunity for you to meet other people, with similar interest, in comfortable surroundings to help you with your project or you can help others with their activities.
This is a weekday meeting of Fountain Pens Australia.
