Jesus Christ & the Choosing Self - David Höhne
Event Information
About this Event
The contemporary sense of self can be captured in the social media term ‘curating an identity.’ For many Australians relative prosperity and peaceful living circumstances leave us free to construct a sense of self based largely on our choices - we are ‘choosing selves.’ In conversation with Dietrich Bonhoeffer this class will investigate what happens when the Choosing Self is confronted by God’s counter choice in the person and work of Jesus the Christ.
