Who is Jessica Jones?

After her life as a superhero comes to a tragic end, Jessica Jones becomes an alcoholic, hot-tempered private detective living out a quiet life of mediocrity and underachievement in Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Using her superpowers to solve simple investigations for clients (because you know, booze costs money), it's not until the return of a former arch-nemesis and supervillian that Jessica is forced to use her powers to their full potential again, to try and save an innocent girl from a terrible fate.
