He's been shortlisted for this year’s Queensland Premier's Award for a work of State Significance and she's won a dazzling number of accolades for The Dry, including the ABIA Australian Book of the Year and the Indie Book Awards Book of the Year. Now, best-selling true crime author, Matthew Condon, and best-selling crime fiction author, Jane Harper, are teaming up for an evening of captivating conversation about deception, conspiracy and what it takes to write a best-selling crime novel.

Jane Harper’s debut novel was a runaway success selling into 20 countries, winning a plethora of major awards, and having the film rights snapped up by Reese Witherspoon. She is now celebrating the launch of her new novel, Force of Nature, returning to the intrigue and dark undertones of small-town rural Australia. Matthew Condon is a multi award-winning journalist and novelist who has a prolific back catalogue of fiction and non-fiction. His true-crime trilogy was an explosive work of investigative journalism, detailing the greed, crime and corruption which took place in Queensland during the rise and fall of Queensland Police Commissioner, Terrence Lewis.

To celebrate the launch of her new book, Force of Nature, best-selling crime fiction writer Jane Harper is appearing in conversation with fellow journalist and best-selling crime non-fiction writer Matthew Condon. Both have worked as journalists, and both have written of the dark undertones in small towns. Get set for a fascinating conversation.
