The 6th Annual JAMS Symposium, Student Poster Competition and Dinner will be held on Wednesday the 22nd of March 2017 at the Australian Museum, followed by dinner overlooking the city's skyline.

Generously sponsored by ISME, the poster competition has a $500 prize. In addition, you stand to reap an immortalization with the winner's name added to the Jeff Powell Perpetual Student plaque.
Please Note: Entry to the poster session is done at registration time (ticket purchase). Under the heading "Other Information", simply answer "yes" to "Presenting a Poster" and include your poster title.
Preceding the symposium and dinner will be a two-day workshop (20th – 21st March) also at the museum. The main purpose being to introduce postgrads and early career post-docs to current approaches used in scrutinising microbial community and genomic datasets. Note: Registration for the TOAST Workshop is completed separately.

For parking, the best choice is the Domain carpark. Opposite the Australian Museum, across William St.
