Jaguar Primary School STEM Challenge

RDA Hunter is pleased to announce the ME Program and PwC are again supporting the Jaguar Primary School Challenge. The event sponsors are RDA-Hunter, the University of Newcastle, PwC, and Re-Engineering Australia Foundation.

What is Involved?

- Primary schools register to be involved in the regional competition by 10th August.

- Schools who are accepted will be supplied with 15 Jaguar paper car kits courtesy of the ME Program

- Students work in teams to construct their CO2 powered paper car at school prior to the event.

- On Tuesday 5th September schools will be invited to UON to race the cars down a 20 meter track

- Each school can have up to 30 students at the event at the University of Newcastle.

Jaguar Primary School Challenge

The Jaguar Primary School Challenge engages with primary schools students and teachers in the same way as the F1inSchool Secondary School Challenge. The challenge is open to selected Primary School’s in the Hunter Region. This challenge is coordinated by The ME Program in the Hunter under license from REA Foundation and is supported by PwC Newcastle. It involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible emulating the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies, such as Jaguar Cars.
