Australian surfing as he heads up the M1 this March to continue his Surf Talk and Jam talk story tour to celebrate his 50th year in the surf film industry.

Joining McCoy throughout the 7 show tour between Noosa and Yamba will be Gary “Kong” Elkerton, Brendan “Margo” Margieson, David “Rasta” Rastovich, Wayne “Rabbit” Bartholemew, Keely Andrew, Harry Bryant, and the legendary Derek Hynd.

McCoy’s played an integral role in launching the careers of Rabbit, Kong, Margo, Rasta and many others of the world’s best throughout the creation of his award winning feature films - From Tubular Swells, Storm Riders, Kong’s Island, The Green Iguana, Blue Horizon and A Deeper Shade of Blue.

McCoy's interactive ‘talk-story’ events have held audience’s captive around the world, with a mix of story-telling, never seen before film clips and photos from his illustrious career. He’s been using the enforced lockdown to dig deep into his archive and has found hundreds of hours of film which was left on the cutting room floor, some of which will be seen for the first time.

He will be joined by Queensland five piece band Dear Doonan who will take centre stage following the talk story with their new album release.
