Forum: It's not theft, it's art
La Trobe Law School, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria are pleased to invite you to the 'It's Not Theft, It's Art' Forum.
In a post-postmodern world, where memes are viral and intellectual property is something you fast forward through at the start of a streamed movie (if you've paid for it!), should we dump copyright in the bargain bin with all the CDs or should we re-invent copyright for the post-digital world?
Join us on Monday 20 July where some of the best minds in the arts and law industry share their perspectives on copyright and the law.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear our expert panel address:
- the impact of illegal copying or downloading of films
- Fair Use vs. Fair Dealing in music, including online utilisation
- Protection against copying of designs
