Event description

Description

In Cultural Diversity Week, OPA invites CALD community representatives, ethno specific agencies and workers to learn about powers of attorney, guardianship and medical treatment decision making.

The session will explore who has authority to make financial, lifestyle or medical decisions for family members when they are unable to do this for themselves.

Participants will:

  • Hear about our work with CALD clients from an Advocate Guardian’s perspective

  • Receive OPA’s new translated fact sheets

  • Receive a copy of Take Control, a self-help guide to making an enduring power of attorney
