The NSW branch of the United Nations Young Professionals Australia (UNYP) and the Zimbabwe Information Centre (ZIC) present,

"Investing in Africa to drive the UN Sustainable Development Goals: (re)building Zimbabwe"

A prominent panel discussion and Q&A

Panellists include:

  • Simba Marekera: Australia Zimbabwe Business Council, National Secretary and impact investment specialist
  • Matthew Neuhaus: DFAT, A/g First Assistant Secretary, Middle East and Africa Division and former Australian Ambassador to Zimbabwe
  • Dr Tendai Chickweche: UWS, academic and co-author of Beyond the Crisis: Zimbabwe’s Prospect for Transformation
  • Schalk Barnard: EY, Africa Business Development Leader
  • Steve Killelea: Institute for Economics and Peace, founder

Introduction by Dr Meredith Burgmann, President, Zimbabwe Information Centre

50% of proceeds from tickets sold will go to the United Nations World Food Program in Zimbabwe.

Registration opens at 5:30pm. The panel discussion will start at 6pm sharp and will be followed by light refreshments.
