Inventium’s “share generously” breakfast is back!
If you have never been to one of our breakfasts, the concept is simple: you buy a ticket in exchange for hearing some amazing insights into innovation, but rather than us greedily pocketing all the profits, we donate every single dollar to a charity of our speaker’s choice.
For our October breakfast, we have a special treat. We invited Carolyn Creswell to be our guest (and she kindly said yes). Carolyn is one of Australia’s most well known businesswomen and entrepreneurs. She founded Carman’s
back in 1992 when she was just 18 years old. Carolyn grew Carman’s into a household name, and Carman’s gourmet range is now available in all major supermarkets across Australia, as well as being exported to many countries around the world.
Carolyn sits on the boards of The Stephanie Alexander’s Kitchen Garden Foundation and the Human Rights Legal Centre. Carolyn’s business nous has led to many awards including being named the 2012 Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year and the winner of 2007 Ernst & Young’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Somewhere in the mix, she also finds time to be the mother to four children.
Inventium’s Dr Amantha Imber will be chatting to Carolyn about all things innovation. And you’ll be invited to ask some questions of your own too.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Please arrive anytime after 7am, for a 7.30am sharp start.
