Description

Introduction to Watercolour

A series of six classes where you will be introduced to the world of watercolour.

Local artist Kate Wallace will be taking you on an inspiring journey of creativity starting with the basics and gradually moving on towards a specifically composed ‘Still Life’ scenario.

These classes are for anyone who would like to explore working with watercolour paints or to expand on their existing techniques, as well as for people who lack confidence or simply don’t know where to start.

The sessions will begin with a focus on materials, looking at what’s needed to get started- discussing everything from paints, paper and brushes, it is intended this will provide an ideal overview for beginners.

The other sessions will cover technique, the importance of light, still life, the human body or face and the natural landscape.
