Description

A 3.5 hour interactive workshop ideal for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, support workers, new graduates and students. This hands-on learning experience will provide participants with an introduction to clinical reasoning skills and knowledge necessary for working with and selecting walking aids.

Learning outcomes include:

  • Knowledge of the types of walking aids available and reasons for use
  • Demonstrate competency in taking basic measurements and safely adjusting walking aids
  • Outline clinical reasoning for walking aid selection to meet individual needs

Presented by Yooralla’s ILC Therapy team.

NB: Some physical activity involved; please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
