Event description

Description

First impressions matter, and are crucial when it comes to the visual appeal of your bricks and mortar store. Brand identity, window displays, in-store merchandising and general presentation all play an important role in the success of your business.

Covering the essentials of visual merchandising, this workshop will walk you through:

  • the key elements of visual merchandising
  • current retail design and visual merchandising trends
  • how to critique the visual merchandising in your own store and plan for improvements
  • how to create a visually appealing window display

You’ll be provided with practical examples, featuring a range of relevant props, in addition to easy to follow factsheets and worksheets – so you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learnt immediately in your own business.

This workshop is presented by the Small Business Development Corporation’s Business Local service in association with the City of Cockburn.
