This program is suitable for adults 16+

Victim Support ACT provides a range of services to people affected by a crime committed in the ACT. We work with victims to help them recover and to access their rights and entitlements.  Our services are free and confidential. Victims do not need to have reported the crime to police to access our services. This session will cover the following topics:
What is Victim Support ACT?
What can Victim Support do for clients?
What is the Financial Assistance Scheme?
How do victims access Victims Support ACT?
About the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program
About the Court Support Program
Victim Support ACT and our role in the Criminal Justice System
The role of the Victims of Crime Commissioner

 

All programs are free. Bookings required.

 

Please note:

  • Bookings are essential for this program as places are limited.  We are unable to accommodate participants who have not made a booking.
