Description

RMIT is hosting a summer scholarship program for high school students who want to code

RMIT invites high school students to get a head-start on their coding skills by joining our summer school program based on Apple’s App Development with Swift curriculum.

You will be immersed in RMIT’s Mac-enabled learning environment in the city campus. Over four days you will learn to code using Xcode and Swift to build your own prototype app. On the final day you'll present your app and receive a certificate from RMIT University.

Duration: 4 days
Dates: 17 - 18 January and 24 - 25 January 2018
Times: 9.00 am - 2.00 pm
Location: Melbourne City campus
Cost: Free (lunch provided)


Entry requirements:

  • You must be a high school student who will be studying Year 10 or 11 in 2018.

  • Have access to a Mac computer, and consent from your parent/guardian.

  • You will need to submit a 250 word statement explaining why you would be perfect for the program and any coding experience you already have.
