Introduction to Statistics in R

This is a 2-part workshop, registrants must attend both days to successfully complete the workshop. Both sessions run from 9:30am-12:30pm on Thursday 11th September and Friday 12th September.

Join HMRI Data Sciences for a introductory look at statistics using popular open source programming language R. Full of examples you can complete while working along with expert instructors, this workshop provides attendees with the basic skills researchers need to get started on their statistics journey.

In this hands-on workshop, we cover:

• Data types
• Statistical terminology
• Visualisation and plotting
• Statistical inference
• Hypothesis testing

This workshop is taught using R. A basic knowledge of R and R studio is strongly recommended. If you have no R experience, please consider registering for this workshop after attending one of our Introduction to R workshops.
