Our director of drams, Dave Ferry, is on a quest to turn the GC into a city of whisky lovers!
Get onboard our 'Introduction to Whisky' tasting workshop and get better acquainted with this liquid gold.
Join us in our American White Oak Whisky Room as we go through the basics of Scotch whisky while tasting six of the finest drams. We'll look at:
+ how whisky is made,
+ sort out the difference between a Single Malt Whisky, a Blended Whisky, and a Blended Malt.
+ uncover the influence different oak can have on your whisky
+ introduce you to the different regions of Scotland, and
+ we better look at a Japanese single malt and try to discern why the Japanese are so good at making single malt whisky!
