The Introduction to Secure Development training course provides a basic starting point for developers to embrace secure coding practices.

Often priority is given to enhance functionality at the expense of securely built applications. After all, functionality often returns revenue while security is seen to decrease velocity. But building applications with security in mind provides customers with applications that have a minimal risk of compromise and downtime. It is an essential step in avoiding costly remediation. It may also simplify compliance obligations.

This course outlines the most common developer oversights and explains the frameworks that can be used to avoid and mitigate such cases. It also provides the tools to build a secure development culture within organisations.
