Description

Enter the exciting world of robotics by building and programming your own robot!

In this workshop, students will learn how to build their own robot using the Lego Mindstorms EV3 and program it to complete tasks such as walking, talking and moving.

The hands-on practical workshop will teach students fundamental programming concepts such as variables, conditions, loops and functions.

Students who complete this workshop can extend their learning the next day with our Artificial Intelligence workshop!

All UQ Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology workshop are designed to meet the requirements of the latest school technology curriculum, helping students to develop valuable technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Please do not register for the workshop unless your child is in year 7 to year 12. If your child is not this age, unfortunately, they will not be able to participate in the workshop and you will forfeit your payment.
