Overview
This training will be delivered online via Zoom by the HMRI Data Sciences Team.
R is a powerful programming language and environment used for statistical computing, data analysis, and visualisation. Its flexible syntax and extensive library of packages make it an ideal tool for both new and experienced data analysts across disciplines.
In this introductory R course, you will:
- Learn the basic concepts of programming and the R language
- Get started with RStudio and navigate its key features
- Understand and work with common data types in R
- Create and use custom functions
- Use loops make your code more efficient
- Build a solid foundation to continue exploring R for data analysis and visualisation
No prior programming experience is required — this course is designed to help you build your R skills from the ground up.
This training will be delivered online via Zoom by the HMRI Data Sciences Team over 2 days. Attendance on both days is necessary to successfully complete the workshop.
