Thank you for registering for The Makers Studio Central Coast Inc. Members Only – Tetra Pak Printing with Therese Gabriel Wilkins. Please find below all the information you need regarding workshop attendance.

Date: Saturday 25 June 2022

Time: 10 am – 4 pm

Venue: Building 3, Lions Community Hall, 8 Russell Drysdale Street, East Gosford (entrance at the rear of the building)

Introduction to Tetra Pak Printing with a recyclable material salvaged from long life milk & juice cartons. In this workshop you will: - Create your own test plate of marks, design and make your own plate and produce your own prints.

• Look at tetra pak – examine mark making and experiment with mark making techniques using different tools –

• Demonstration of how to ink a tetra plate/use of” al la poupee”

• Printing a plate

• Creation of your own design, illustration and transferring of image to tetra pak plates

• Inking plates /printing

• Printing your own design

• Works will be displayed at the end for a viewing of what created

You will be supplied: tetra pak plates, ink, one sheet paper, (paper is available to purchase) and any disposables required for the process.

What you need to bring: lunch /water/mug/mask/hand sanitiser your own ideas and sketches you wish to use/ notebook-visual diary/ pencil/ folder of some kind to put your prints in to take home to keep flat. (This could just be some cardboard bent over)/ Tracing paper if you wish to trace your image onto the plate / engraving tools if have, if not no problem we have plenty.

Please note: Before you come you might like to research /sketch some images that you are interested in.

PLEASE WEAR CLOSED IN SHOES.

Bring your own lunch etc.

Tea and Coffee will be available

Covid – 19 policy will be in place. You must not attend if unwell.
