Description

NodeGirls Brisbane is back!

node girls logo

Node Girls runs free JavaScript and Node.js workshops for women, non-binary and trans folk around Australia. On 9th December 2017 the Brisbane chapter is running a retake of their first workshop: Introduction to NodeJS and ExpressJS - with updates based on feedback received from our last event.

If you missed out in the last event, or you would like to have another go at the workshop, come along to this free event where you will learn how to build a basic content management system, where you can write, publish and save posts. No previous knowledge of Express.js or Node.js required. This is an ideal atmosphere for you to learn about Node or Express in a friendly, collaborative environment. Bring along your laptops, and your enthusiasm to meet other like-minded people!

Just Digital People will be hosting us once more at their beautiful office on Ann Street. The workshop runs 10am - 4pm, with delicious lunch, coffee/tea and snacks included (dietary requirements catered for).

Thank you to our generous sponsors Just Digital People, Queensland Government (Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation) and SixPivot.

If you would like to support this event by becoming a mentor, please fill out this registration form.
