This workshop introduces the foundational concepts of co-design and explores how these can be adapted and enriched by the principles and values of First Nations people and communities. It emphasises respect, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity, aiming to bridge the gap between Western design methodologies and First Nations knowledge systems. Participants will learn how to approach co-design in a way that honours First Nations perspectives, ensuring designs are culturally safe, inclusive, and community driven.
