Description

An integrated water system that simultaneously serves agriculture, urban design, and aquatic ecosystems.
Bioponics—from Greek "bios," meaning "life, or mode of life." This hybrid system is straightforward—and a simple to operate—way to produce fresh vegetables, herbs, and other plants. This is a steady, reliable, no-nonsense source of food for your family.

In this workshop, you will learn –
• Growing Food
• Assembly of a system (Design, Build)
• pH & water quality, Testing equipment
• Nutrient levels and Conductivity
• Experiments & Problem Solving
• Nutrient variations

**One lucky participant will also be taking home a portable bioponics unit on the day**

In this closed cycle, self-balancing system, mineral salts as plant food are replaced by natural nutrients from a biological source: Actively aerated compost and weed teas plus much more. This practical, ingenious system needs no expensive equipment or patented parts and uses readily available materials to grow quality food for your family.

Cost: $110/$95 health care card
