Event description

Description

Beekeeping is a popular and growing hobby and many people have already found out how enjoyable, rewarding and easy it is to keep honey bees. It's also a way of ensuring you have a supply of 100% pure, natural honey.

Learn the basics of beekeeping - how to obtain bees, where to locate them in the garden, and the basics of colony management, extracting honey, native bees and rearing queens.

*This is an introductory course only so there will be no practical activities with live bees.

These sustainable workshops are funded by Camden Council with the goal of increasing environmental stewardship within the Camden community.
