Event description

Description

The appearance of a person's teeth, especially their smile, is extremely powerful in modern society.
Never before has a smile meant so much than today, and as dentists we are in a unique position to potentially change our patients’ lives through what we do on a daily basis.

This intensive program will provide an introduction to anterior aesthetics, smile design, and treatment planning. Additionally, participants will learn a simplified composite resin layering technique, how to finish
and polish composite resin veneers, and what to
do if and when complications occur.

The knowledge and skills demonstrated in this program will enable participants to put these into practice
the next day.

LEARNING OUTCOMES LECTURES
• Understanding the basis of smile design
• How to treatment plan and implement the chosen plan
• Learn a simplified composite resin layering technique useful for all restorations Class I-V
• How to finish and polish anterior composite resin restorations to mimic a natural tooth
• How to manage composite resin fractures and complications

LEARNING OUTCOMES HANDS-ON WORKSHOP
• Placing an aesthetic class IV restoration using
a simplified composite resin layering technique
• Make an entire tooth (crown and root) from composite resin
• Finishing and polishing of composite resin veneers
